Product Description
The Eurocopter AS350 Squirrel is a single-engine helicopter originally designed and manufactured in France by A_rospatiale (now Airbus Helicopters). In North America, the AS350 is marketed as the AStar. The Squirrel was certified in France in 1977 and deliveries to customers began in March 1978. On 14 May 2005, piloted by Didier Delsalle a Squirrel landed at about 8,848 meters on the top of the Mount Everest, a rotorcraft take off and landing world record to this day.
